MyDistrict · Hebbale Technologies
Business listing agreement
Version 1 · in force from 28 Oct 2026
Terms · Privacy · Community rules · Business listing agreement · Employer terms · Grievance officer
This agreement is between you, the person listing a business ("you"), and Hebbale Technologies ("we"), which runs MyDistrict. It applies in addition to the Terms of use, Privacy notice and Community rules. You accept it electronically by ticking the box and continuing; under the Information Technology Act, 2000 this is as binding as a signed paper agreement.
1. Your authority
You confirm that you are 18 or older, that you own the business or are authorised by its owner to list it, and that the business is real and operating lawfully.
2. Your listing is your responsibility
- Everything on your business page — name, address, phone numbers, prices, menus, packages, hours, photos, offers, coupons, loyalty rewards, answers and posts — is published by you, and you are responsible for it being true, complete and up to date.
- Ready-made starter prices and text are examples only. You must check and correct them before relying on them. Price lists read from photos must be checked by you.
- You will not publish misleading claims, fake discounts, fake "verified" or award claims, or prices you do not honour.
3. Licences and law
- You hold every licence and registration your business needs (for example FSSAI, GST, trade licence, shop and establishment registration, drug licence, or registration with a medical, bar or other professional council) and will show them when asked.
- You follow the laws that apply to your business, including consumer protection, legal metrology (MRP and weights), food safety, labour and advertising laws.
- Professionals whose councils restrict advertising (for example advocates and doctors) will keep their page to the factual information their rules allow.
4. Photos, logos and words
You own, or have written permission to use, every photo, logo, video and piece of text you upload. You will not use another business's photos, menus, brand names or logos without permission. You allow MyDistrict to show and share this content to run the service. If someone complains that your content is theirs, we may remove it while the complaint is checked.
5. Your customers
- Goods, services, bookings, orders, payments, advances, refunds, delivery, quality and safety are between you and your customer. MyDistrict is not a party to these transactions, is not your agent, and does not collect payments.
- You will honour coupons, offers and loyalty rewards exactly as published while they are active.
- You will respond politely to customer complaints and to complaints passed on by our grievance officer.
6. Your customers' personal data
You receive customers' names, phone numbers and request details so you can serve them. You will use them only for that purpose, not send unwanted messages, not sell or share them, and keep them safe. Records you keep in MyDistrict tools (bills, khata, bookings) are your business records; you are responsible for handling them lawfully, including under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
7. Reviews
You will not write reviews of your own business, pay or reward anyone for reviews, post fake reviews of others, or pressure or threaten people who review you.
8. What is not allowed
Everything in the Community rules — including no political content of any kind, no hate or abuse, no adult content, no illegal goods or services, and no pretending to be a government office or another business.
9. Checks, suspension and removal
We may verify your business, ask for documents, pause your page for a check, or suspend or remove it — without notice where the law or safety requires — if we believe it breaks the law or this agreement. We may share information with authorities when Indian law requires it.
10. Fees
Listing is free. Optional paid plans, if any, show their price and terms clearly before you pay.
11. No guarantee
We do not guarantee any number of visitors, enquiries, sales or any position in search results, and the service may sometimes be unavailable.
12. Indemnity
You will compensate Hebbale Technologies for any loss, claim, penalty or legal cost that arises because of your listing, your content, your goods or services, your dealings with customers, or your breach of the law or this agreement.
13. Limit of our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect loss, loss of business or profit, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or ₹1,000 if you use the free plan).
14. Ending
You can delete your business page at any time. We may end this agreement if you break it. Sections 5, 6, 12, 13 and 15 continue after it ends.
15. Disputes
Please first contact our Grievance officer; we will try to resolve the matter within 30 days. This agreement is governed by the laws of India and the courts at Bidar, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
16. Changes and record
When this agreement changes you will be asked to accept the new version before you can keep managing your page. We keep an electronic record of each acceptance — the version and SHA-256 fingerprint of the text, date and time, network address and device — which you can see in My District → My agreements.
Document fingerprint and earlier versions
The SHA-256 fingerprint proves this exact text. Each acceptance is recorded with the fingerprint of the version accepted.
